Refund Policy
Last updated: 22 October 2026
This policy applies to the paid plans on Crushly — 1 Day (₹99), Monthly (₹299) and Yearly (₹1,999). A refund means we return the money to the payment method you used, and your account drops back to the Free plan. The Free plan is never charged and is never refundable, because it costs nothing.
1-Day plans are not refundable once chat is used. Monthly and Yearly can be refunded within 48 hours of purchase if the plan has not been meaningfully used. After 48 hours we still look at the request — especially if the app was broken for you.
1. The short version
| Plan | Price | Refund window | If used |
|---|---|---|---|
| 1 Day | ₹99 | Within 24 hours of purchase, if unused | No refund once the plan has been used. |
| Monthly | ₹299 | Full refund within 48 hours of purchase, if unused | After 48 hours, at our discretion, if the service was not working for you. |
| Yearly | ₹1,999 | Full refund within 48 hours of purchase, if unused | After 48 hours, at our discretion, if the service was not working for you. |
Amounts shown are base prices. GST at 18% and a 5% convenience charge are added at checkout, and a refund returns the full total you paid, tax and convenience charge included.
2. What can be refunded
A refund is available when one of these is true. If more than one applies, we apply the one that is best for you.
- You bought a plan by mistake, bought the same plan twice, or were charged the wrong amount. We refund the full amount, including tax and fees.
- The payment went through but your plan never activated. We refund it in full, or credit the plan to your account — your choice.
- You bought a Monthly or Yearly plan and asked within 48 hours, and you have not meaningfully used it.
- You bought a 1 Day plan and asked within 24 hours, and you have not used it.
- The app was down, or a paid feature was broken or missing, for a period that made the plan worthless to you. We refund the unused portion of the plan.
- We made a material change to the Service that broke a paid feature you had already bought, and you told us within 30 days.
We do not ask you to argue. If you think your case is close to one of these, just ask — we will look at the plan and the dates and tell you what we can do.
3. What counts as “used”
A plan counts as used if, after you bought it, you did any of the following:
- You sent or received chat messages beyond the 5 free messages you get every day.
- You shared contact details — a phone number, email address or social handle — in a message, in your bio, or in a prompt answer.
- You sent a photo or a voice note in a chat.
- You created or updated a date plan.
- You took advantage of priority placement in Discover on a Yearly plan.
Merely signing in, editing your profile, browsing Discover and sending connect requests does not count as use. If you bought a plan and did not get to try it because the app was not working for you, that is not use either.
4. What we cannot refund
- The Free plan. It costs nothing.
- Time you have already spent on a plan, once the refund window in section 2 has passed. We refund the unused portion in the cases listed there, not the whole plan.
- A change of mind more than 48 hours after the purchase, where the plan was working and you used it.
- A plan on an account that was suspended or terminated for breaking the Terms or the Community Guidelines. We cannot refund a service that was ended for abuse.
- A plan we gave you for free, or a promotional or discounted plan, unless the terms of that promotion said otherwise.
- A payment you have already charged back through your bank. If you raise a chargeback, we cannot also refund the same money — but you can still ask us, and we would rather settle it with you than with your bank.
5. How to ask for a refund
Refunds are handled by a person, not a button. Here is the route:
- Open Help inside the app. This is the fastest route because your request reaches us in a tracked queue with your account attached.
- Write the subject as “Refund request” and include the plan name, the date you paid and the amount you paid. All three are on your invoice, on the Plans page in the app — you do not need to find a payment ID.
- Tell us why, in one line. “Bought by mistake”, “paid twice”, “the app was down on Saturday” or “did not use it” is enough.
- Wait for our decision. We review every request and reply from the support address. You will see the reply in the app too, under Settings → My help requests.
You can also email support@crushly.cloud. If you would rather not use the app, that works just as well — but please tell us the email address on the account so we can match it to your purchase.
6. How long each step takes
| Step | Who | How long |
|---|---|---|
| You send the request | You | A minute, from Help in the app |
| We review it | Us | Within 3 working days |
| We tell you the decision and the reason | Us | With the review |
| We initiate the refund with the payment gateway | Us | Within 7 working days of approval |
| The money reaches your bank or card | Your bank | Usually 5–10 working days after that |
| Your plan ends and the invoice shows as refunded | The app | Immediately, when we start the refund |
The last row depends on your bank, not on us. Once we have initiated the refund you will not need to do anything else, and the invoice in your Plans page will show as Refunded.
7. Nothing renews automatically
There is no auto-renewal and no standing debit on your card or bank. A plan simply ends when its time is up and your account falls back to Free — your profile, your friends and your photos stay exactly as they are. If you want to stop using a paid plan early, press Switch to Free on the Plans page. It is instant and free.
8. If something went wrong
Service problems are a separate case, and the 48-hour rule does not apply to them. If the app was down, a paid feature was broken, or we changed the Service in a way that broke something you had already paid for, tell us and we will:
- refund the unused portion of the plan, or
- give you the missing time back on the plan, whichever you prefer.
Tell us as soon as you notice, and include what you were trying to do and when. Screenshots help but are not required.
9. If you are not happy
If you disagree with our decision, write to legal@crushly.cloud and we will look at the request again. If that does not resolve it, write to grievance@crushly.cloud, which reaches our Grievance Redressal Officer.
You also have the right to approach a consumer forum under the Consumer Protection Act, 2019, including through the National Consumer Disputes Redressal Commission’s e-daakhil portal. Nothing in this policy is meant to stop you doing that — we would rather sort it out with you first.
These Terms are published at /terms, and every other way to reach us is on the contact page.
